Over 280,000 lights used! Every single light strand in the display is a size C6 LED. We painfully removed all three tags from each of the over 5,600 light strings used.

The 10 mini trees have 12 strands of lights on each one (four red, four green and four blue). They stand 8 feet tall.
Pre-staging, such as building the arches and preparing the mega tree strands begins in late September. Outdoor setup begins October 1st, and we work every day until we go live on Thanksgiving.
Everything is synchronized using Light-O-Rama software and hardware control boxes. There are over 80 control boxes spread all over the yard, controlling every light strand in the display.
The display is setup entirely by the Downs Family, with the help of a few great friends!
